These expressions describe actions that happen infrequently or do not happen at all.

Frequency expressions with days, weeks and months

Spanish also expresses frequency with phrases that indicate a repeated schedule or number of occasions.

Spanish word order is flexible. Frequency adverbs can appear before the conjugated verb, after the verb or at the beginning or end of a sentence.
