Catamaran Cruise from Lloret de Mar – BBQ, Open Bar & Costa Brava Sea Views
The catamaran departs directly from Lloret de Mar beach — no transfers, no ports to navigate. Within minutes, the coastline opens: rugged limestone cliffs, hidden coves, small fishing villages that look unchanged from fifty years ago. The Costa Brava from the water is a different thing entirely from the Costa Brava from the beach.
On Board & What's Included
The grill fires up early. Beef burgers, chicken skewers, pasta, salad and a fruit cocktail — simple food cooked well, served on deck with the horizon behind it. The open bar runs alongside: sangria, beer, soft drinks, and water. Music plays throughout — the volume and style depend on which cruise you choose.
- BBQ: beef burgers, chicken skewers, pasta, salad, fruit cocktail

The Swim Stop
About an hour out, the anchor drops in a sheltered bay — calm water, good visibility, and enough space to swim without the crowds of the main beaches. Snorkelling gear goes in; the floating mat and water trampoline appear. Some people lie on the nets at the bow and watch the seabed below. Others get in the water and don't get out until the crew calls time.
Water shoes help here if the entry point is rocky. Bring them if you have them; the crew will tell you what to expect on the day.
Three Cruise Options
Family-friendly, no party atmosphere, calmer music. Best for children, couples who want quiet, and anyone who prefers a relaxed pace. Beautiful light in the morning hours.
For young adults and groups of friends. Livelier music, good energy, the open bar in full swing. The afternoon light on the cliffs is worth the later start.
DJ on board, 5 drinks included, full party atmosphere. Ideal for birthdays, hen and stag groups, and anyone who wants the complete package. Spots fill fast — book early.
The Costa Brava from the Water
The route takes the catamaran past some of the most dramatic coastline in Spain. Cliffs drop straight to the sea; pine forests grow to the edge of the rock; small coves appear and disappear as the boat moves south. None of this is visible from the beach. The only way to see the Costa Brava this way is from the water — and a catamaran at 4 knots is the right pace to take it in.

- Couples — Morning or Afternoon Cruise; choose based on the mood you want.

A Word on the Language
Vela — the Spanish word for sail. When you're moving along the coast under a white sail, the word almost sounds like what you're experiencing: light, free, weightless. The crew speaks English and Spanish; a few phrases go a long way on the water. ¿Puedo tomar otra sangría? — Can I have another sangria? — tends to be well received.
